3,336 years ago we stood together, young and old, at the foot of Mt Sinai to hear the 10 Commandments.
Each year, on that same day, we gather again to hear and re-accept the Torah.
Affirming our commitment to follow its teachings to the best of our ability, and make the world a brighter, happier, kinder, more G-dly place.
(Nowadays, it comes along with a delicious dairy feast as well:) )
On Friday, May 22nd, we'll be celebrating this historic event together as a community. We would love to have you celebrate with us.
Together we'll hear the 10 commandments read from the Torah Scroll and enjoy a delicious community holiday dairy brunch.
On the menu: Blintzes, lasagna, baked ziti, eggplant parmesan, salads, cheesecakes, salmon, ice cream and more.
Friday, May 22nd - 11:15 am @Chabad of Woodstock.
