    Be a Part of Our New Sefer Torah

    Chabad of Woodstock invites you to join in the rare opportunity to acquire a portion in our brand-new Community Torah, fulfilling the Torah’s final, 613th, commandment to write a Torah:
    "And now, write for yourselves this song, and teach it to the Children of Israel" (Devarim 31:19).

    A Sefer Torah is more than a sacred scroll, it is the heart of our community. Each letter represents a soul, and together, we form something complete and eternal.

    Dedicate a portion, pasuk, word, or letter in honor of a loved one, in memory of someone dear, or as a meaningful way to be part of this historic moment.

    Every person who dedicates a letter or portion in the Torah will have the special opportunity to inscribe one of the final letters of the Torah at the Welcoming Celebration in Woodstock on June 28th, 2026.

    Your dedication becomes part of the Torah forever, a lasting connection to something greater than ourselves.

    DEDICATION OPPORTUNITIES
    ✔ Torah Dedication - Reserved - $50,000
    Reserved by an anonymous donor in honor of the Woodstock Community, and Rabbi Mendy & Shaindy and in honor of the Donors Family.
    ✔ Keter / Silver Crown - $6,000 - Reserved
    A beautiful silver crown. Have your name engraved on the Crown.
    ✔ Eitz Chayim / Torah Handles - Reserved - $2,500
    Decorative Torah handles engraved with your dedication.
    ○ Chumash - $3,600
    Dedicate one of the Five Books of the Torah.
    ○ Special Section - $2,500
    Dedicate a special section in the Torah scroll for yourself or a loved one.
    ○ Yad / Silver Pointer - $1,800
    The silver pointer used for reading the Torah. Have your name engraved on the Pointer
    ○ Chazak! - $1,800
    Dedicate the final verse of a Book of Torah. Chazak! Chazak!
    ○ Parsha / Torah Portion -  $1,000
    Dedicate an entire weekly Torah portion for a birthday, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, yahrtzeit, or special date.

    A complete aliyah, one of the seven segments of each Torah portion read every Shabbat.

    Every letter is vital for a Torah to be complete.
